If you would have told me 10 years ago that Town would be in the second round of The FA Vase I would have thought you were mad but this weekend Town will make the long trip to Tring Athletic looking to secure a place in the 3rd round.

But make no mistake this well be a very tough game against a very well drilled outfit in the South Spartans Midlands league. Our opponents currently sit 6th in their respective league so Town will have to be on full alert to get a victory.
Town can go into the game with some confidence after victory against Brantham last week. But Town will be without Nathan Stone who is suspended and Spencer Cawcutt who is cup tied after he made an appearance for Sheringham in the earlier rounds.
Town have received a huge boost as Elliot Pride is fit to play again after the Town keeper suffered a bad shoulder injury in training a short while ago.

In regards to the managerial situation Chairman Adam Mullin, Duane Smith and Joe Manning will continue to be in interim charge. In an interview with the Diss Express Adam had this to say.
“It's a massive decision as to who’s going to run the football club because as a club, I think we've only had probably three or four managers in the last 14 years.
“We don't change managers every five minutes, and when we do bring somebody in that has to be the right person.
