Nathan Stone will make his 200th appearance for Harleston Town tomorrow against Lakenheath.
The striker was signed by Adam Gusterson back in 2017 when Town had just missed out on the Anglian Combination premier division title to Spixworth and Stone was identified as a player that could take Town to the next level.
Formerly of Needham Market, Wroxham and Kirkley Gangles possessed that experience that Town needed to get over the line and in 2018 Town achieved the double by winning the Mummery Cup and The Anglian Combination Premier Division Title with Gangles scoring 17 goals.
In the following season in the thurlow nunn north division Gangles notched up 28 goals and helped Town to a second placed finish and winning the Thurlow Nunn knockout cup.
Since then he has been consistent throughout and a main stay within the team and is a fan favourite amongst all ages and is regarded as one the best players to put on a Town shirt.
Regarded as some of defenders toughest opponent with his sheer size and strength, he has always been one that defenders would always wonder if he is playing or not.
Many highlights include that unforgettable volley at home to Mulbarton in 2022 which was fortunate to be caught on camera. He also scored Towns first ever goal in step 5 football at The Rec.
He is a player that will always be apart of the history of this club and regarded as one of the best players we have ever had.
